Last week, on 15th February 2014, there was an
opening of sport event called Dewa Athena in my school. This event is hold in
Lapangan Bali. It started at 8 o’clock. The opening was marked by a lit of
torch by Mr Encang as our headmaster. After that, this event followed by sports
competition between classes form 2015 and classes from 2016. Sports that are
contested was football, relay, basketball, and much more.
Each class has its own schedule to compete, and schedule for
my class was 13.00 for tug of war, and 14.00 for relay. So we just took photos
and walked around the area. Over time, we felt bored and then we decided to
went to Richeese Factory to have lunch before compete with other classes. When
we were finished our lunch, we still have much time so we went to GBall field
in Kosambi to play futsal for about one hour. We went there by public
transportation, and some of us were brought their own transportation. After
played futsal, we went back to Lapang Bali again and palyed tug of war. And
unfotunatelly we were lose, I think it was because our team’s body was small,
and our opponent was big. But, we think it was okay.
After tug of war, we continued out competition. That was
relay. If we are disappointed before, now we were happy because our team win
the competition! The winning of our team made our day, and that’s how our day’s
end. We closed our day’s with happy! However, we still have a lot of
competition that we do not yet. We have to keep our spirit until the end of this
event!
